Playing it safe.
-Whyreasons
Proximity.
nearness or closeness.
Borderline teased with intentions,
Spilt attention,
Conversed affections,
At your convenience.
With your narrowed dimensions,
Of your ticking time clock,
Stirred apprehensions of your mixed comprehensions,
To keep the retention of nothingness.
Let’s call it, @whyreasons
Living life on the half way line.
Plato interventions,
Until contentions become apparent.
Territorial obsession,
To mark it’s inventions.
Ownership of pride.
Toxic masculinity,
Fiddled with greed.
Excuses of the abnormal,
Unanswered questions of the doubt,
Because stability lurks it’s self amongst the distance,
Behind me. @whyreasons
With truth.
And compatibility.
Because I thought they would catch up;
Instead they were flagging red flags,
You saw,
However,
Myself.
Too focused on the proximity of a figure.
Hitting ceilings of growth,
Big person,
Small room.
Boxed. @whyreasons
Something that was never destined.
Identified within the lining of your words.
Latent blue ticks,
That verify your priorities,
And speak nothing but of your other responsibilities.
Fittings of a timed scheduled,
Tailored to your needs.
Whilst diminishing value.
And worth.
Substitutes to the games you play,
That comes from the wining and dining,
And the many side dishes,
you delay, @whyreasons
For your own insecurities.
Suited and booted,
Of your facade moments.
Because playing it safe,
Means to heighten your ego,
And wanting applauds,
For doing what your supposed to be doing.
So it can replenish the saliva to your half eaten Adam’s apple,
That Eve ate.
Hands of punishment,
Of your open wounds.
Held on the left thigh.
To grope amongst,
When relaying our interactions,
That you had no problem,
Replying to. @whyreasons
Grinding,
And swivelling on my vulnerability that brought us to,
Being within the
Proximity of you.
