Playfully Sinister

sleep paralysis

By Caasi LloydPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Seconds creep

The day sleeps

I, awake, sit weary

If for a season

or a turn

i long for it so dearly

Oh if god

permit a nod

a quick glimpse into slumber

Grant me peace

and nightmares cease

while preying demons wonder

For without thy aid

treaty forbade

I fear a shroud of darkness

Benumbed my limbs

woeful cherubim

the devils playful seed

Bringing fright

throughout the night

till day casts fiends to shadow

Where they wait

at lucifers gate

for nights eclipse of horror

And through the valley

of death I terry

I shall fear evil after all

sad poetry
