Placed With Poise

~

By Rowan Finley Published 12 months ago 1 min read

Look where I dared to drive,

this sand is very much alive,

as it has been packing me punches,

while above me people ate their pretty picnic lunches.

For so long, sand hid me down deep,

but not to fear, the hand that found me, wasn’t a creep.

Placed with poise upon this smart bottle,

by the neck, my life, I feel fresh control of the throttle!

Ready to drive on highways, rumbling vigor, sand-free,

but then a snotty-nosed toddler threw me right into the sea!

The first line got me rolling like woah, you're so brave! Lol. But man, that toddler did you dirty in the end! 😆

Ah, the places that little car will go after being tossed into the sea... around the world in 80 days 😁 love it ✨💫

:) Oh the pure heart of joy from the eyes of the toy. Until the being thrown back at sea part lol.
