There is a place that means the world to me,

you are there, and so are we

in complete connection through action and thought;

wherever we traveled apart, we fought

for this place of our own design.

Fresh water flows through our veins, giving life

to dreams with intention, without strife

you teach me how to breathe, I teach you how to float

above the ripples, over your moat

to this place of our own design.

Now shake your wings dry and fly to the sun

so I can follow; prove I’m your one.

Together, we’ll leave this sticky space

to find the freedom of our dreamt place
