Pity Not the Color Blind

They Know Not What They See

Pity Not the Color Blind

It is true, one in twelve men see not as you

Reds and greens

May make them cringe

And pastels fade within their view

A traffic light surely gives them pause

But to follow the laws they just do

What the traffic light

Makes the other drivers do

Only four tenths of one percent of women

Are color blind like the men

They match clothes for us, matching ties and jackets and socks,

Where would the color blind begin?

But for sure the color blind see colors

They see not just shades of gray

Blues, yellows, and most other colors,

Make up their day

Just don't color code using greens and reds

And they will be just fine

And do not blame my wife for my socks today

Their selection was all mine.
