The grey sky is lulling,

sit down at your desk.

Sun will hide today,

let’s give him some rest.

/

Pause for a moment,

meditate on my voice.

The raindrops are speaking,

louder than your brain noise.

/

Watch as I work,

to wash the world for brighter times.

Tap along to my rhythm,

as static volume climbs.

/

The gloom is important,

so sigh with me.

Open your window

and let the rain be.

A delightfully whimsical poem. There’s a time for all types of weather.✅

Well-wrought! Whether in storm or stress or under a sky cloudless we are naturally ourselves, still, and should drink our fill!

The gloom is important, so sigh with me. Open your window and let the rain be. Those lines were revitalizing! Beautiful entry!
