Pinks And Blues

We're all marked when we're born,

Pinks or blues cover our faces, our bodies, even on our clothes.

Everyone's expected to keep these colors until the day that they finally leave this Earth.

But it doesn't seem fair;

The same colors? Either pink or blue?

What about those who don't feel right with their pink or blue?

Maybe someone painted blue wants to be painted pink,

Maybe someone painted pink wants to be painted blue,

Maybe someone wants both colors,

Maybe someone doesn't want to be painted with these colors at all.

Or, maybe some people want a brand new color.

We've come such a long way,

Being able to show our colors with Pride.

Although, there are still pinks and blues who want their peers to stay their pink or blue.

Watching their pink and blue faces become red with Rage.

Let us fly our rainbows,

Use the whole color spectrum,

Break the system,

Let pink and pink mix,

Allow blue and blue to mix,

Let other colors mix.

What's the harm?
