When does happiness come back?

You start with presentation

And a spunky sounding name

Pink is supposed to be fun

Playful, cute, and comforting.

The bitterness is still there

And even you can’t hide it

When the color and savor

Well they don’t quite land the same.

Your gallons leave me thirsty

Feel cheated by your promise

When I need absolution

You just added more problems.

But will you answer the phone

The next morning when I call?

Bottles shine in the lamp light

And the shadows chase the walls.
