Pieces of Heart'
"Others are Smooth, with a Gentle, Loving Form"
By AbbasPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
My heart is a puzzle, with pieces torn apart
Scattered like leaves, in a stormy heart
Each piece a memory, a shard of love and pain
A fragment of dreams, that remain in vain
Some pieces are sharp, with edges rough and worn
Others are smooth, with a gentle, loving form
Some fit together, like a work of art in place
Others lie alone, with a sorrowful, empty space
But still I hold on, to each piece with care
For in their brokenness, my heart is still there
And maybe someday, they'll all fit as one
And my heart will be whole, and my love will have won.
