Piano’s Reflection

~

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago 1 min read

Stained glass window reflection,

it shines on the side of piano’s affection.

Like a painting on the side,

by the piano, I love to abide.

When the notes waft to the ceiling,

I feel God’s powerful healing.

Warm presence pours like sunshine,

embracing my skin and hope intertwines.

I hear the battle raging in the spiritual realms,

but I don’t cave to being overwhelmed.

Worshipping and declaring gratitude,

reminds me that we’re not here for platitudes.

We’re here to celebrate the finished work that the cross symbolizes,

Father above, our hearts, He prizes.
