WHAT DOES IT MATTER

WHAT DEAD MEN THINK

now that time has grown so far and beyond

the issues of the shribbled mind

far gone

and too forgone where ides of glory

and fastidious ways

for gaining Nobel pride

has set past time and era

whilst current news

rides the tide...

fervent youth

resigns for "pride"

and common stance presses

"to defer...

defer at everything

once thought

once played

once had as a "common stance mind"

our father's ways.

What matters what the dead men say

Aristotle, Chaucer, Pygmalion,

Socrates?

Philosophers of all time

they thought and we learned to listen

...that exam was done at 9.--

3/2022 (for philosophy 101)
