I,

pale as a ghost

As Jockco is foolhardy

allusion, alleged, alluring

Jouska echoes through my dreamstate

My phantom orchid

like a rose-colored astral projection

briefly felt

Never held

Opurtunisic, operettic, occult

Like a premonition;

you crashed into my present-

Smoldering with charm

without upper-handing

Nor smothering

my (inner beauty)

You high jacked

my chemical imbalance brain—

Familiarizing, flushed, fantasies

inconsequential, indifferent, inevitable results

wide open the door to doubt

as if it was keyless entry...

Floating in consciously,

as apparitions do!

I pale as a ghost,

As Jockco foolhardy

allusion, alleged, alluring

Jouska echoes through my dreamstate

My phantom orchid

like a rose-colored astral projection

You forgave my adolescent heart

For numerous unforgivable deeds;

as if the devil-may-care

Fulfilling freedom from fraudulence

In the room

is just me,

and you!

sad poetry
