I let the Wind

Carry these leaves

Off and away

To disintegrate

And become part of

A memory

Only a memory.

There will be new ones

To take

Their place

Now, always.

No matter how far I've gone into the overgrowth

It is no matter

How I tried to fight the Current

Or how

I stand at the edge.

It's the moment I jump and

Feel the Water catch me

Envelope me in its gravity defying depths

It's Blue-Green Safety Net.

I let go

Let myself float like a flower petal

Beautiful, full of color, detached

From thorns

It's new existence

Light

No struggle in it to stay afloat.

And that path

I have

A compass in my heart

My eyes

Blue like his

Blue like a Safety Net.

My road forks and twists

Turns

Rises and falls

But it is mine.

False reality brought me here

Drowning at the bottom of a bottle

Is not what is intended for me.

I live to love I love to live

And grow along with the Garden

I am only as good as these roses are tall.

Grasping at sand in Current-

Saving one from being swept away?

I've got ahold of many more than that.
