Flowers From My Baby

Persephone Is Me

This world cannot dismember me,

Because I am Persephone.

The two of us,

Are one you see,

A dark and lovely thing.

You freed me from the Underworld.

Buried deep,

A seed unfurled.

Flowers for a lonely girl.

My heart,

It was,

A Winter night.

Your sunshine,

Is the Spring.
