Perfectly Imperfect

In the hardest of times you may fail,

But I will always be by your side.

You may slip & fall but I will be there to help along the way in the wake of your trail,

& no matter how hard things may get for you; I will always be your strength until all the bad subsides.

There will never be a time where you have to face anything alone,

Even if I'm not physically there at the moment I am always with you in spirit.

But if for some reason I'm not there; I will forever regret those moments & for my lack of action I will atone,

You will never truly understand how much you mean to me; how for you I will do anything just to see you happy & how in life I want to see you make it.

You may have your doubts & insecurities but that is all okay,

You may have your issues & scars from your past but to me you are still beautiful.

No matter how many times you make a mistake & however many faults you may have you will never scare me away,

Even when you are at your lowest & feel as if you have nothing left to offer, I'll still ride with you in your moment of despair because when it comes to you I am always grateful!

You can't always be strong because you have moments of weakness,

You can't always offer your best because you have those Vulnerabilities.

But those are the reasons why I love you & give you my kindness,

Because those are what make you who you are; one of the best blessings I could ever receive from, God so you'll never be a liability.

So when you ask why I care & why I love you,

These are just a taste of the reasons why,

Your past & your future mistakes don't define who you are so just remember that will always remain true.

No one will ever take your place because there is no one like you so you will always remain in my heart with the up-most respect until the day I die.

I will never be able to explain what makes you so wonderful,

There's something about you that I just want to treasure & protect.

Your ways may scare the night & you may be a handful,

But all I can say is, well at least to me, you truly are Perfectly Imperfect!
