Peppered Kisses

And a poem based on some hot peppers I grew

Slip me into your mouth like a too-hot pepper

Oozing capsaicin across your fingertips,

Your lips.

Tongue.

Down your throat.

Let your molars pinch the seeds of heat,

Crack them open until desire burns through you.

.

I want to burn like a star in the hollow of your throat,

Hot enough to press my initials into your vocal cords.

I want you to wake up in the middle of the night,

Unable to breathe because the heat won't quit,

Coated in sweat

And dreams,

Lingering desires that turn into a flush.

.

Touch your throat with trembling hands and fingers

Cooled by the ice you've obsessively swallowed.

Let your thoughts wander

To the wildfire

Haunting your lips.

It cannot be extinguished with water, nor milk, nor cream.

The heat has invaded the essence of you, the nooks of the soul.

Wow, this is very HOT! I loved it—superb choice of words. (yet, I HATE spicy food and burning mouth or throat).

  • Whew boy!!! This is hot and flashy for sure
