I know that you are far from running out of words

To describe and depict your love and lust for me;

You plan to poetise about every part of

My being, searching through my body for more love

Or 'tis lust that you hope to discover, all free

Now that you may have reached, up and beyond, two thirds.

-----

Love is the answer, I keep repeating with words

Which you surely know but rarely thought "meant for me"

Except that they are only for you, all parts of

Your existence; past, present and all future love

With lust at every turn and secret fold, too free

To entertain any level but all three thirds.

-----

Dedicated to Penelope Israel.

    The way you give voice to Penelope, imbuing her with strength, patience, and a quiet resilience, adds a rich layer to the well-known myth. Your use of language is exquisite, with lines like [insert specific line], which particularly stood out to me. It beautifully captures the emotional depth and complexity of her experience. Your poem not only honors the original tale but also reimagines it in a way that is empowering and poignant. It’s a wonderful reminder of the timelessness of these stories and their relevance to our lives today.
