My dear little friend, how do you fare?

I send this missive, with love and care,

That you may know, though distance be wide,

My heart to yours, it remains tied.

I long to tell you of my days,

Of fun and play, in myriad ways,

With friends I cherish, in our green abode,

Where we frolic and run, with spirits bestowed.

My bike, it takes me on a wondrous ride,

With wind in my hair, and sun as our guide,

And when the heat proves too much to bear,

We jump in the pool, without a care.

But what I miss most, my friend so dear,

Is the time we shared, without any fear,

So let us hope, with each passing day,

That we'll be together, without delay.

So write to me soon, of your doings and dreams,

For in your words, a bright light gleams,

And when we meet, the world will be bright,

With laughter and joy, under the sun's might.

With love and affection
