Peace, elusive and delicate
A fleeting dream, hard to find
In the chaos and strife of the world
A refuge for the troubled mind
It's the calm in the midst of a storm
The stillness in a restless sea
The gentle breeze on a summer's eve
That brings a sense of clarity
Peace, an oasis in the desert
A haven in a hostile land
A place to rest, to heal, to grow
A sanctuary to understand
It's the silence in a crowded room
The moment when all else fades away
The tranquillity of a quiet mind
That helps us face another day
Peace, a treasure worth pursuing
A gift we all should seek
For in its embrace we find the grace
To love, to hope, to speak
It's the bridge that connects us all
The bond that ties humanity
The path that leads to a better world
Where justice and equality can be
Peace, the answer to our longing
The solution to our strife
May it prevail in every heart….
And bring new meaning to our life….
