A Poem for the Holiday Season
Peace be with everyone this holiday season. During these intesely tense times, let's remember the dove, the symbol of purity and harmony.
P for solid friendships oft not seen
E for empathy seldom gleaned
Assurance that we all need
Care for others, we do plead
Ease with each other, never cease
By the break of day and dark of night
Existing in dove-like harmony
Walking hand in hand
In perfect sync with all beings
Togetherness, in dove-like form
Heading to horizons beyond
Young bird, flying ever high
On wings white that will touch the sky
Under the forever rising sun.
