stop start
don't even pause to breathe.
unpause your heartbeat
resume your mind
let the anxiety enter your veins.
there might be someone
watching from behind you
and they see how your eyes hesitate.
there might be a stranger
whom you've never met
expecting to remember your name.
pause, unpause
restart the movie
let the directors shout "action"
ease your heart,
don't overthink it,
someone will find your smile.
