PATRIOT
At a time when country and unity was most important
The meaning is to vigorously support one's country
To be prepared to defend against enemies and tyranny
Is it defined the same or is it construed for you?
Does it bring out the best or does it bend what is true?
Is it rooted to the core where you bleed red, white and blue?
Or does it make you furious when fruition doesn’t come to?
I take it to heart... who will lead is who I will follow
Whatever feelings that arise, I will be present tomorrow
Up high and proud, the colors of our nation
To protect our own, to defend with no provocation
GOD has blessed this land from sea to sea
