Goodness, past self, how I long to address you

To murmur useful tidbits in your ear

To direct you on the way you should seek after

You're youthful and loaded with dreams, it's valid

In any case, regard my words, for risks move close

Goodness, past self, how I long to address you

Try not to be influenced by the people who bid you do

Things that make you exuberantly pleased with uncertainty and dread

To direct you on the way you should seek after

Remain consistent with yourself, let your light radiate through

Try not to allow anybody to diminish it, my dear

Gracious, past self, how I long to address you

Try not to rush, take as much time as is needed, the excursion isn't a race

Relish each experience, hold them dear

To direct you on the way you should seek after

What's more, when you stagger, as we as a whole do

Keep in mind, crying a tear is OK

Gracious, past self, how I long to address you

To direct you on the way you should seek after
