Passing Clouds

Back to the Sky

By Tricia CrowleyPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
Love, let's fly away. Back to the sky.

Love, come on down, Leave the sky behind.

Passing Clouds. Just wave goodbye.

Love, hit the ground, Smashing down.

Break my heart, Do you hear the sound?

Of the tears falling,

Like rain in Spring?

Heart so cold, so numb,

Can't feel a damn thing.

Love, get back up, Look around.

Drop that shield, Do you hear the sound?

Of the winds of change,

Like a summer breeze?

Let it go, all the pain,

Forget the memories.

Love, let's fly away, Back to the sky.

Passing clouds. Just wave goodbye.
