Part Two: The Gypsy Hassan's Tale

In the distant past, where clouds drifted through the sky,

There was Hassan the Gypsy, whose moods shifted like a cloud,

He changed like a chameleon, coloring his life,

Who could understand his heart or decipher his fate written in the divine script?

He lived with a monkey and a dog,

Maimoun the monkey, and German the dog, faithful and strong,

The dog was a loyal guard, obeying every command,

While the monkey was mischievous, living among obstacles and mischief as usual.

They lived together in a small house,

Venturing to the markets together, racing with the winds,

The monkey would leap and jump, while the dog stood watch in silence,

And Hassan collected money from their strange acts.

But time wore down all he owned,

He fell ill, and his pocket emptied of wealth,

Leaving him with only a small amount,

He bought a monkey and a dog to stand by him in his time of need.

Hassan fell ill, living in dark days,

But German the dog never forgot about food,

He untied the monkey and they both went to the forest,

Searching for sustenance, no longer afraid of anything.

A vast forest, where trees kissed the sky,

And fruits of all kinds rained down upon the earth,

The monkey Maimoun and his companions gathered the fruits,

And they became the holders of riches, then returned to Hassan at night, hiding what they had gathered from prying eyes.

Hassan came up with a new plan,

A wooden cart drawn by the dogs,

They pulled it in the night, so their secret remained safe,

Then in the morning, they took the fruits to the market for sale.

But the neighbors began to notice,

They marveled at the source of such fruits,

Until the suspicion arose, and they accused Hassan of stealing,

They filed a complaint to the king, and Hassan found himself in a difficult position.

The king ordered Hassan to be brought before him,

So he arrived with his dog German and the monkey Maimoun,

He said, "O king of time, I am an honest merchant,

I do not engage in shameful deeds, nor live in sin."

But the king could not contain his impatience,

He demanded Hassan explain the story,

At that moment, German the dog sensed the danger,

And conveyed the message to Maimoun the monkey, and they both fled swiftly.

The monkey and the dog went to the forest,

Gathering an army of monkeys and dogs,

They attacked the king's soldiers with all their might,

Chaos spread, and Hassan disappeared in the blink of an eye.

The monkeys and dogs were driven out,

To the distant forests and streets,

They became wolves, hunting rabbits and rats,

As for Hassan, he vanished into a place unknown.

But Maimoun the monkey and German the dog,

They are still searching for their master,

In the deep forests and across the wide land,

To this day, they have yet to find Hassan, and the search continues.
