This city held many scars.
Scars that riddled every doorstep and every ledge.
These scars were made from love.
Every night, a Beautiful Dreamer would dance the Danse Macabre
Until her feet bled, and the crowds cried with laughter at the plight of her misfortune.
"Make a Wish, and your love will come back." they taunted.
Eventually the Beautiful Dreamer would find herself in a desolate forest near the embankment of the Parisian Tower of Gold
Guided by that Gilded light, she strayed from the forest,
Tracking mud through the cobblestones,
Many families gathered inside their homes and watched from their windows sadly,
As the Beautiful Dreamer waltzed through the many peoples of the streets.
Dancing in circles, every swirl of her gown was another piece of jewelry taken by her partner-in-motion.
Dancing in circles, her gown swirling in an ever-lasting typhoon as it began to rain.
Until she made it, finally, to the topmost Gable of that gilded tower.
The Beautiful Dreamer saw the world from the height of the Gods.
And she wept... for all the love that was beneath her feet lay too far beyond her reach...
The ghosts of the other Beautiful Dreamers that drowned in the river canals approached her from behind
"Love has come to set you free..."
As they pushed her with childish mischief off the Golden Tower
It wasn't until it was too late that the Beautiful Dreamer realized...
The Tower of Gold was the infamous Eiffel Tower, where many brokenhearted souls have leapt from to escape their scars of love.
The next morning, another Beautiful Dreamer crept out into the street, lead by the taunting nature of a heartless fiend. For the Price of Love is never truly paid... or is it?
Will the Curse of the Dancing Lover finally be broken? Or will Paris go from being the City of Love... to the greatest city of Heartbreak this world has ever known?
