flagellation at the
guillotine gallows
hanging and draining
icepick incision and
jagged intrusion
kick to the gut inside interal
liminal spaces and
mindlessly
numb
optic illusions
parenthisis parenthesis
quartz-glimmer blinding my sight, cracked glasses
roped and dragged to offer
silent serenade
tighter grip and a
useless fight
vital signs
weakened
x-ray shows internal conflict
yesterday's promises forgotten on the
zenith of failures and self destruction
