Parasites
A Poem

Parasites infecting my brain
Crushing my soul
Causing my heart to strain
Making my eyes roll
Parasites
Crawling everywhere
Through every hole
Taking up every chair
Why are you even here?
Are you proud of yourself?
When you clearly do not care
For more than yourself
Shuffling along daily
Only to enslave me
Because you’re endlessly lazy
You lap up all the gravy
While others scream
“Save me!”
