Papa, please don't go.

The sound of the drum,

The scent of smoke in store,

The call against a dragon,

The open call for war,

A declaration of a king,

The decree against the harbinger of sin,

To march upon the mountain,

And slay the dragon within,

A child at a loss as his father would leave,

The tears drops that would not stay,

"Papa, please don't leave me,

Papa, please don't go away,"

A blade given in the sheath,

A child would then learn,

"I will come back, my son,

You will see my return,"

A child held the grip as he wiped the tears off his face,

Through sorrow and mourning, despite how impossible to perceive,

"I have faith my papa will come back,

I choose to then, believe..."
