Pain

Rise

Pain overtakes in mysterious ways.

Fuzzing the mind to fleece.

Making minutes into days,

Raising mountains before the peace.

-

Grasping its dinginess still feels good

for it allows you to drown and forget.

Shifting a conscience away from what it should,

A controlled mind is its pet.

-

Instinct commands to run

To glaze the fire with foam.

And say, after all it won,

In the pretense of a home.

-

But pain can open minds,

in ways nothing else ever did.

Somehow it untangles the binds

and refeels all emotions that hid.

-

It won't ever reveal it's cure,

So seek behind the disguise,

Find yourself in the impossible war

Pain is there to help you rise!
