We have each other

We must try to constantly

be

and explain

being

without knowing why

we are

And we must constantly

uphold

our similar beings

while knowing why

upholding

falls on we

we, with strained limbs

we, with heavy hearts

we, with deep memories

we, with eyes looking in from the outside

we, with rooms away from the outside

we, with strength and love and hope

we, with worlds existing

where we are who we are

and where

we are explaining who we are

and where

we say nothing because of who we are

constantly

June,

for them,

comes.

But,

June,

for we,

never goes.

Some day, people will learn to mind their own business, let other folks be. But someday is a far way off. Lovely way to describe the tensions and hostilities of life.
