I became their hero.

But today,

I sense hatred.

I am an outcast.

I was their helper.

I was always there for them.

when they needed help.

But today, I feel like an outcast.

They openly despise me.

What on earth did I do?

To be treated as an outsider.

When I move closer to them,

They go their separate ways.

They act as if they are not speaking.

They shun me, as if I have harmed them.

What on earth did I do?

They avoid me like I'm dirt.

I'm like an outcast.

Avoidance causes pain.

I guess it's time I realized that they despise me.

It's time I embraced the hatred they've shown me.

I better move on and let them be.
