My poem for ‘I Didn’t Say That Out Loud’

The world has not meant for me since birth.

I could only wish people can know me more with judging or rejecting me-

If I’m relatable, they can only see me as an alien…

‘Not a human…

If I make mistakes, I became a scapegoat.

If I’m being vulnerable, they are afraid of me.

If I’m flawed, they want me to be excluded.

‘I am a mistake in everyone’s life…

And that is why ——

I really am an outcast…

How often do we all feel this way! I'm sorry you do, though, and I hope you find peace.

This one's got soul! It spills the kind of truth most people swallow—glad you let it out.💖
