Russ Vought- current Director of The United States Office of Management and Budget is described in a video shared by the United States President and the White House as The Reaper:

has been preparing to make his mark on the US for years. In fact, slashing jobs and traumatizing federal employees and departments was his explicit aim:

and he had it in his sights as he orchestrated the creation of the Executive Orders now presented like appetizers to the President one after the other. Although the president-elect denied knowing Vought, it was either a lie or a suggestion of memory failure: Vought was part of the previous Trump administration serving as first deputy-director than as director of the OMB.

Lies or not, Vought had no problem pointing out that, no matter what the candidate for office said: Project 2025 was ready and waiting to enact its aims. Vought was VP of Heritage Action (the lobbying arm of the Heritage Foundation), executive director and budget director of the Republican Study Committee, and the policy director for the Republican Conference of the US House of Representatives.

Vought refused the incoming Biden administration to meet with the OMB staff, as is the usual custom to ensure a smooth transition, and after Biden took office Vought founded The Center for Renewing America (CRA), decrying DEI and advocating for White Cristian Nationalism views.

Vought described the CRA as the Death Star. He also called it a 'shadow' OMB operating outside of the government. His intent now is to create a "shadow Office of Legal Counsel" to circumvent the legal and defense teams from stopping their methods to achieve their aims. Charming.

Vought has publicly advocated for military force to be deployed against US citizens, dismantle and reshape the US Government, and cause 'trauma', as seen in the video above. He was also made the policy director of the Republican National Committee platform committee. The result was a Trump platform that directly matched the objectives of Project 2025... even as Trump denied any knowledge of Vought or Project 2025.

These claims didn't hold water then, and they don't hold water now. In an undercover video made public August 2024, Vought dismissed the denials and reaffirmed his intentions:

Vought was prepared to ignite massive deportations, shut down Departments like the EPA and Education, use the military against the US citizens, and defund the government.

During the current government shutdown, which has occurred with the Republican party heading the Senate, House, and Presidency; Vought is eager to continue the elimination of jobs, departments, agencies, and more. He does not care that these actions are against the current laws. He doesn't care if people are fired one day and rehired the next. He doesn't mind the chaos; and although I haven't seen him say it; it's likely chaos just seasons the stew of malice that he stirs. he is head chef of such chaos even as the nation seeks to undo the devastation and theft of data the previous DOGE Musk-rat caused.

Vought is not concerned about the ballooning of America's national debt as long as the result is the implementation of Project 2025's initiatives.
