Our Torch Charlie Kirk

The Light Shall Never Fade

“Our Torch Charlie Kirk”

By Riccardo Marini – September 2025

He stood for God, for family, for love,

A messenger of light, sent from above.

Through campus halls and crowded squares,

He spoke with courage, his heart laid bare.

A modern Jesus, spreading his word

With dignity, grace, and faith at his side,

He carried the truth, with nothing to hide.

The morning sun rose bright and clear,

A father, a husband, a son we held dear.

He carried our torch with nothing to fear

The young cheered, his message of hope,

A nation inspired, a reason to cope.

Yet far on a rooftop, hidden from sight,

Crawled evil’s shadow, prepared to strike.

Without a warning, the rifle’s breath,

Delivered its venom, a sentence of death.

His blood red on white fences near,

Staining the soil we hold so dear.

Silence tried to steal the sounds

A battle cry so sincere all around

A bright beacon now downed

The mirrors of faith shattered in pain,

As dreams for tomorrow we struggled to sustain.

The pain of rain, like storms of tears from the sky,

Hearts pierced with sorrow, yet refusing to die.

His words shall echo, through valleys of time,

Carved in our memory’s mountain peaks,

Etched into rhyme.

We walk hand in hand

We’ll carry your message with a thunderous drum,

Until every serpent retreats under the rock it’s from.

For though one man falls, his devotion shall never depart

His Love shall never lay, His truth shall not cease

His dream shall never die, His light shall never fade

His spirit lives on in our courage and our continued peace every day.
