Our Hunt For Our First House
We want to find the right one.
House hunting is busy and fun.
We need to find the perfect "one."
We reject some, consider the rest.
Making our house a home, our quest.
There's countless listings we go through..
Our house does not have to be new.
Sometimes we feel that this one's right.
Then this feeling's gone the next night.
Houses we've found have flaws in each wall.
We think each window is too small.
Or house will tell us we belong.
Built with steel, brick to make it stromg..
We want to find one that's first-rate;
Has features that make it look great.
Granite tops, tile floors that glow.
In the house we buy we'll learn and grow.
Finally we find one that's right -
Sun rooms, french doors - beautiful sight.
Helps us feel peace, security.
Outside a deck and trees we see.
We will make cherished memories here.
Personal touches bring us cheer.
Our house represents who we are.
It's beauty - like a shining star.
