Our Happy Home

Another successful day at the Studio,

I send you a text saying "on my way home".

I can't wait to go home & relax with you out on the patio,

Because your loving presence is where my heart roams.

As I walk lock up the car & walk closer to the door,

I smell the delicious new meal cooked & the kids laughter.

I open the door & there you all are waiting for me as I look back to just adore,

I can't believe how blessed I have to you & a family big beautiful together from now to forever after.

The kids run to me with there arms out wide,

They all squeeze me tight & say "Hi, Daddy!"

Then you walk over as my smile becomes too much to hide,

You kiss me softly on the lips & say "I have something for you, come with me!"

Your excitement arouses my interest,

So I follow you to the kitchen as I step over the kids' toys.

You say "I tried a new recipe at work & not to brag but it is the best!"

& I say "Oh baby everything you make is the best & it fills my heart with joy!"

The kids clean up & help set the table,

As we gather the food & sit & uncover the lovely meal by removing the silver dome.

We share with each other about our days since we are blessed & able,

So after we all finish I grab you from behind & wrap my arms around you & say "I love you so much, Thank you for Our Happy Home!"
