Our Great Sea
Oh, our great sea,
Your breeze graces our land,
A scent of amber sweet,
Your touch makes our home grand.

Oh, promise me,
Our great sea,
Let your waves join our dance,
They sway but never rise too high,
They kiss our shores with gentle glance.

And still,
Jealous hearts whisper, "We’re sold, we’re done,"
Oh, great sea, bring peace to everyone.

Tell the breeze to calm,
Sail gently, pass without harm,
Don’t trouble our restless souls.
Fly with it, our vow in hand,
We swear to the winds, we’ll stand,
May it not visit to make us fall.

Carry the breeze to me,
Shy, unwilling, yet kind,
It kisses my hand,
And whispers, “Now we’ve changed our mind.”

We no longer hurt the ones we love,
The breeze carries kindness above.
It shows my care for my dearest heart,
A bond unbroken, a work of art.
It says, “All’s well, your new start.”

This was beautiful and created a sense of calmness. Love the flow of it.
Wonderful, the flow of verses has made the poem look like a song 💖 It's a beautiful piece, Ali 🙌
I like the Mediterranean sea because I am from Alexandria. These words were composed as a song for the sea, and I preferred to share them with you. I HOPE FOR YOUR COMMENTS.
