i fell into a star

made of molten cobwebs

held aloft by a cold morning thaw

of random perverse and pensive wishes

you fell into a moon

a solstice of stagnated sorrow

you seemed to revel in the blight

it made your dark side shine

i fell into another me

enveloped in a cold slow burn

i sweated until i shivered

and then i kept falling

you fell into you

and then you fell into me

chaotic collision of cold comfort

better than nothing

we hovered above this world of ours

angles and perceptions skewed

we could see from every side

except each others

sad poetry

Woah. "angles and perceptions skewed we could see from every side except each others" Always finishing with a punch.

This poem is something else. "i fell into a star / made of molten cobwebs" is such a wild way to describe something and I can see it so perfectly. This is Top Story material, to me. Gorgeous poem!

  • A solstice is stagnated sorrow, damn
