Opening A Can Of Butt Hurt
Thinking Out Loud

So many times we’ve voted wrong
Then after that, we mope
That candidate won’t last for long
Once given enough rope
Do those enforcing HOA’s
Walk a slippery slope
Is justice for whoever pays
Just peddling “soft soap”
Are doctors who push opioids
Mere dealers selling dope
By numbing pain, creating voids
For those who couldn’t cope
Am I a congregation pawn
For pastor’s selling hope
Will I be damned for betting on
The Vatican’s next pope
