vivid life of fire
fall leaves leaping to the sky
waiting to be quenched

cold winter water
underneath a fallen tree
frost in the bear's fur

blossoms grow again
cubs hold tight to their mother
the Earth nourishes
------------------------------
bear and leaf-shaped clouds
transformed in the summer breeze
float above it all
