One with the Sea

Day 8 of 365 - prompt: sea soaked and salt stained

By Ellie HoovsPublished about a year ago 1 min read

I became kindred with the sea

when I was young.

I loved the way she waved back at me,

like I was the only one.

She understood my every tear

cause our waters are the same,

now my heart is forever more,

sea soaked and salt stained.
