You grew in the 1900 hundreds and fed our ancestors, our parents, us, and now our children. You never grew outdated.

Up at the highlands or down the coastal,

At the back yards of every homes, you are there, dominating the vegetables garden,

It does not require complex process to grow you, rain, sun and soil are all you need.

Other veggies are sessional, they are here today and gone tomorrow, but you grow in session and out of session,

Under any conditions and weather, you still grow and thrive.

Major source of income for households you are, meeting everyday needs. you are a means of survival.

You raised engineers, doctors, lawyers, teachers..you also contributed to nation building.

Your availability, simplicity, flexibility, resilient, adaptivity will continue to make you rule the garden, the market and the kitchen.
