Shed a tear, set apart,

Love to mourn from the heart,

Separated from her that day,

Confused about the proper way.

"Why did she go that way?

Daddy, where did mama go?

When is she going to come back?

Don't you know?"

A hush, a tear, a release of a whine,

The flesh to overrule, to those who boast and dine,

The sheep then cast aside, as if like livestock,

Left in terrible conditions, the horrid state of the flock,

A tear, a cry, an uplifted plea,

A little boy then separated,

"Why did mama got that way? When will she come home to me?"
