One-sided friendship

I thought that we would be best friends,

forever and always, till the end.

but now it seems that I was wrong,

the friendship we had is now long gone,

I gave my all to make it work,

I was always there when you needed a perk, skipped my classes just to be with you,

but you were too busy texting someone new.

you came over but talked to others instead,

while I sat there feeling alone in my head,

tried to make you laugh and smile,

but you were lost in your phone, all the while.

you tagged all your friends in every post you made,

but not me, your supposed best friend, I always felt betrayed.

thought we'd be forever, but I was wrong,

our friendship's been one-sided all along.
