One day

so… 2022 has been a CRAZY spiritual year, for me. I’ve documented everything along the way. This specific story was from a dream I had a few months ago. It started with going to one of my favorite artists concerts, matisyahu. Literally 2 nights later.. I had a dream. I had a dream that he was singing one day and I was front row and he handed me the microphone and out of no where, I started freestyle rapping. Then, snoop dog pulled me to the back of the stage and started getting my info for a record label 😂😂😂 I don’t sing professionally.. only in my car, by myself. I don’t rap and I’ve never even posted a video really on social media… not my style. I’m shy, but this dream baffled me! Absolutely baffled. Then, I call my brother, tell him how realistic this dream was. 30 minutes later, I go on Facebook and matisyahu pops up on my Facebook 🤯 saying “hey! If you want to sing on you with me… upload a video of you singing one day and I’ll choose a winner”What are the odds. I thought to myself how outside of my comfort zone this was, but started writing from my heart ❤️… then I recorded this remix and uploaded it. Although I did not win the contest, I was so fulfilled with the creativity of writing and I totally had fun recording with my daughter. This remix actually became an anthem for my 2022 year. A year.. that I got baptized and my dad died during the process. A year that during his 40 days in the hospital a war broke out… between Ukraine and Russia, a year that was foreshadowed 7 years ago in a different dream (but that’s a different story for a different entry) for now, I will post my poem… remix… soul poured out on paper for whomever to read and be touched by the words. In the video, I blended my poem with the song. I will admit, I’m no professional singer, not a writer, not a rapper… just a light with love for all beings so please be kind ✨🫶🏻❤️☀️☮️✌🏼🕊🙏🏻
