On your mark, get, set, go

I heard a loud whistle blow.
Looked around and everyone was running
Couldn’t help but follow.

There was algid breeze around,
Would sense it more, the faster I ran.
It started getting brighter
And I realized how far behind someI stand.

Curiosity made me lope
As the vicinity became utterly bright.
Realized I was getting past a slow few
This happiness was a surprise.

Then met one, who could not run
Wandered with him a mile
But could not lose sight of my happiness
Left him with a heavy heart, he still smiled.

Had become known now; felt better
There was hardly anyone I could see ahead.
But as I crossed a white line
Beheld some folks beginning there!

Felt somewhat drained now
But then the perks changed my mood
By crossing more white lineslike this one
I would cluster more of these goods.

Kept on running faster
My addiction to victory was new.
But as I conquered those white lines
There were more things I never knew.

The goodsearned helped me gain speed
Those with more of these goods, stood tall.
Put in all my might to outnumber them
Have to be the best – That’s ALL!

Would only look for white lines now
Overlooked a big black spot.
Fell flat on my face
On me they laughed a lot.

Cried, for I was hurt
Again felt – That’s ALL!
The whistle blower lifted me up then; I thanked
But couldn’t forget the fall.

Before I could realize it, I was running again
This time more careful and ace.
Could gambol those big black spots now
Kept on gaining pace.

This time a yellow line was underfoot
That got me rewards, bigger and better.
Could feel the breeze again now
But it wasn’t very familiar.
