On Solitude

A Quiet Embrace

By (JERJ) Thudd WalkerPublished about a year ago 1 min read

A heavy heart, a lonely soul,

A silent pain, beyond control.

My mind adrift, in thoughts unclear,

A silent tear, a forbidden fear.

Yet, in this gloom, a chance to grow,

Seeds of strength, begins to sow.

A moment's pause, a quiet space,

To face oneself, at one's own pace.

To ponder deep, to truly see,

The self within, so wild and free.

A chance to heal, unpopular trends,

A faithful friend, a steadfast end.

For solitude, a bitter pill,

But from its depths, true wisdom spills.
