On Powerful Moments On Film

Inspired By An Enlightening Momentum Near The End Of "Congo"

Something in the spaces between,

Dignifies this space inside of me;

When you'll find, one never knows,

But know it you shall as you come upon;

Answers forth to questions rise,

Vision yearns itself to form,

It's visage upon the you that is I,

That is we;

/ * /

Conviction once drawn, the truth in the bag,

Glimmering wonders defy the abyss,

As radiance flooding from somewhere unknown,

Stirs me from within;

Note On Inspiration

(SPOILERS for Congo (1995)):

Just near the 2 hour mark, there is a shot of Munro, Ross, and Peter watching Amy as she is joining her new family. With the trio together, a triad/triangulation on screen (no signal pun intended), and a shot of the Volcano smoking/erupting with a musical segment, and my seeing the performance of the actors as characters in this whole scenario together, I was sent to great heights within myself. There are so many words, it seems, I could use to describe my perception. I only wish you could feel it with me. What an ultimate gift that would be.
