Old Woman Stuff

And my husband chews snuff

Okay, this has nothing to do with snuff

He doesn't smoke, and that is enough

He used to smoke, and now he chews

and sometimes it gives me the blues

like the day it dripped on me, ewes!

~

Yesterday I rode my motorcycle to town

by myself, and my children would frown

It was a beautiful day for a ride

Today, the smoke makes me have to hide

my ride, as I am allergic to smoke

and it is coming in heavy, no joke

For many years now, Canadian trees

have been on fire. Hoping for an end, please!

~

Today, I had plans to go to a powwow,

but probably not now due to the smoke. Wow!

Instead, I will do laundry and write

And call a few and laugh with the hubby

I love it when the sun is out and it is light

a long time now. I will be cleaning some grubby

things around the house and decluttering too.

I'm wishing you the best day as I do with my Boo.
